Facebook - Terms of Service Explained

Published 26.11.14 at 10:43

If you use Facebook to promote your work or enterprise it is important to keep up to date with Facebook's terms and conditions, as new features continue to be added. You may not have realised, for example, that certain activities are prohibited in connection with personal accounts.

This factsheet is designed to be a helpful summary of certain key aspects of Facebook's terms of service as of 21 November 2014. However, it is not legal advice. Should you have any specific concerns regarding the uploading of your content to Facebook and/or the subsequent use of your content by Facebook or other third parties, please seek legal advice.
