Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights in China

Published 30.10.13 at 10:34

You should ensure that you have the necessary procedures in place to monitor any potential acts of infringement e.g. by monitoring trade fairs and policing the web for copycat products. When you identify infringing products you should collate evidence and take the appropriate action to enforce your rights. There are four main enforcement options in China: administrative actions, civil litigation, criminal sanctions, and customs seizures. Read the article below to find out more about the different types of action you can take to protect your copyright, trade marks, patents and design rights.
